For a long time I have been thinking about how I can contribute more towards spreading Torah in the world, having been learning for many years in kolel without finding much opportunity to teach. There is no doubt in my mind that the best medium for this in the modern era is the internet, hence this blog.
My plan is to set aside some time weekly to help explain concepts to those who are looking for help, to facilitate discussion and constructive debate, and also to learn from what others may have to provide. I would appreciate any tips or requests, either on this page or by email to dzwestbrook@gmail.com. Torah related current affairs are legitimate topics, although I will try to refrain from discussing what I think about specific people or institutions.

I am now working full-time in a non-Torah related job. If I could find an alternative (or complementary) position involving teaching Torah that would be great! If anyone knows of a vacant or new position that might be appropriate, please let me know.
